Resumen

Esta entrevista o intercambio de opiniones nació de la necesidad de ampliar la reseña de la edición en castellano de La idea de América Latina. Como los lectores advertirán, la sola lectura no basta y es preciso situar el libro en una difícil «geopolítica del conocimiento». Aunque el acuerdo era de antemano imposible –se trataba de un intercambio, no de un acuerdo–, la conversación no ha terminado. La conversación es, de hecho, interminable.
