Resumen

El presente artículo argumenta en favor del innatismo moral, y explora sus posibles aplicaciones en el caso del tráfico global de órganos humanos. Particularmente, el artículo busca que el lector acceda a sus «sentimientos de comportamiento legítimo», los cuales se basan en el entendimiento jurisprudencial indígena de que este «comportamiento legítimo» surge desde el interior de la persona, en lugar de a través de la coerción basada en la aplicación de la ley. Este artículo pide al lector considerar una variedad de asuntos alrededor del tráfico ilegal de órganos y partes humanas, y lo que este tráfico nos pueda indicar acerca de la demanda de aquellos órganos, provenientes del Sur Global por el Norte Global. Asimismo, el artículo se enfoca en la incapacidad del Norte Global de cultivar y mantener una cultura en la cual la muerte sea un rito de paso significativo.
