    Ph.D. Adjunt Senior Fellow, Profesora-Investigadora titular del Centro de Gestión Costera, Universidad de Griffith, Australia. La profesora Christine F. Black es de origen aborigen australiano (Pueblos Kombumerri y Munaljahlai). Entre sus publicaciones se cuentan dos libros –The Land is the Source of the Law: A dialogic Encounter with Indigenous Jurisprudence (2011) y A Mosaic of Indigenous Legal Thoughts: Legendary Tales and Other Writings (2016). Su más reciente investigación apunta a realizar una crítica a la noción occidental de «hecho histórico», junto con su sesgo subjetivista y patriarcal, otorgando igual validez epistemológica a los relatos mitológicos indígenas.


    O presente artigo argumenta a favor do inatismo moral, explorando suas possíveis aplicações no caso do tráfico global de órgãos humanos. Em particular, o artigo busca que o leitor acesse seus «sentimentos de comportamento legítimo», os quais se fundamentam na compreensão jurisprudencial indígena de que esse «comportamento legítimo» surge do interior da pessoa e não a partir da coerção baseada na aplicação da lei. Este artigo convida o leitor a levar em consideração uma variedade de questões em torno do tráfico ilegal de órgãos e de partes humanas e aquilo que esse tráfico pode indicar acerca da demanda por órgãos, provenientes do Sul Global em direção ao Norte Global. O artigo também enfoca na incapacidade do Norte Global de cultivar e manter uma cultura em que a morte seja um rito de passagem significativo.
