Conexões coloniais.

Esse breve artigo trata a forma como três impérios (chinês, espanhol e britânico) e os distintos processos de colonização ibéricos e britânicos se entrelaçaram historicamente, através de quatro temas. Considera-se o método de análise comparativo em relação à Shumei Shih, assim analisa-se brevemente o seguinte: 1) a história revisionista anti- eurocêntrica que inclui a Ásia, mas exclui a Abya Yala da história universal. 2) A exclusão dos impérios ibéricos das versões convencionais sobre os impérios e a história contemporânea universal, incluídas as teorias literárias pós-coloniais. 3) A separação artificial dos impérios ibérico e britânico e suas colônias no chamado Novo Mundo. 4) A colonialidade da democracia ou a expulsão dos colonizados do sistema de governo.
