Pensamiento descolonial afro-caribeño : una breve introducción.

This essay is an introduction to the implicit theoretical positions presupposed when we say “decolonial Afro-Caribbean thought.” It discusses the spacIal, theoretical and epistemological presuppositions that defines de field of study in this special issue. The Caribbean is redefined as the Greater Caribbean, not as a Geography, but as a sociohistorical-cultural experience coming from the plantations of racial capitalism. In addition, it discusses the Decolonial Manifesto.
