Jefferson Jaramillo Marín Author

The text by researcher Anne Marie Losonczy initially published in French by Editorial LHarmattan in 1997, and today delivered to readers by ICANH and IFEA is the result of extensive field work carried out in stages, between 1975 and 1992, in the lands of the upper and middle Chocó, in the Colombian Pacific. The research could be located in the field of African American ethnology, developed from the third decade of the 20th century. With more specificity, the study would be linked to the field of African-American ritual ethnography in contexts of cultural exchange and syncretism such as the Capá, Ichó and Mumbaradó rivers, where black and indigenous groups coexist. The text that includes this research is divided into eight chapters and a good battery of conclusions. Below we will highlight some of his most significant contributions.
