Tabula Rasa continues to be a space for the free exchange of ideas of contemporary social thought. Since its first appearance in 2003, and with an already consolidated collection of articles in eight issues of continuous publication, our magazine has materialized as a political, academic and editorial commitment guided by the will to disseminate knowledge openly and unrestrictedly. The need to affirm itself as an alternative to the current logic and dynamics of production and circulation of knowledge, aimed at its commercialization, makes sense by virtue of the claim of two convictions regarding the valuation of academic knowledge: as a means of understanding reality for the sake of its transformation and, in this sense, as a right and not as a privilege.
