The book is a product of the study Training in research and its relationship with the conception of social work, designed and executed for some years and now published by Professor Uva Falla Ramírez, leader of the research group in Social Work and Contemporary Trends classiï¬ fallen in Colciencias. In the line of the author's scientific production, this work exposes to the academic community, not only several decades of teaching, research and writing, but also a rigorous and argued proposal, on the disciplinary status of research in social work, but with the flexibility and multidisciplinary openness that allows the convergence of other knowledge interested and committed to the theoretical and methodological evolution of the subject.
