    Roger Magazine, Samuel Martínez and Sergio Varela, in Football Hobby and Rivalries in Contemporary Mexico: A National Look, compile fifteen research papers related to the practices - in the stadiums and in their surroundings - of football team fans and the meaning of their affiliation, in which perceptions and feelings towards teams other than their own are involved. Roger Magazine emphasizes that the purpose is to understand the national pattern of rivalries and alliances among fans. Also, understand the relationship between the football fans and the national urban system.
